Adrienne is the middle school technology teacher. She provides students with a diverse array of technology experiences. Time spent in class is focused on becoming a strong problem solver and global citizen. Adrienne has a strong belief in student voice and choice and encourages students to put themselves into their work.
Adrienne has an MA in English and secondary education from West Virginia University. She taught middle school language arts and reading intervention for 10 years in Vermont before pursuing her passion of technology. She is passionate about students having a foundation in 21st century skills in order to be successful in the world.
When Adrienne is not working, she enjoys spending time with her young daughter. She also loves to cook and hike with her husband. Gardening is a passion but she mostly sticks to herbs because her thumb is not very green. Asheville still seems pretty new to Adrienne, but the hills feel like home.
