My name is Cameron Ranslow and I will be teaching English II courses at Franklin for the 20-21 school year! After serving as Ms. Washburn and Mr. Fowler’s student teacher last spring, I am so stoked to be returning to Franklin as a full-time teacher. In my time as a student teacher at Franklin, I fell in love with the culture and educational atmosphere fostered by the dedicated faculty and staff and, more importantly, I felt so inspired by the astounding student body at Franklin. It is an honor to officially be an FSI Bolt!
I am a recent graduate from Brevard College with a Bachelor’s degree in English with a concentration in literary studies and a focus on teacher licensure. In my time as an undergraduate, experiential education was woven into my studies and it dramatically enhanced my learning experience – I cannot wait to continue this practice at one of the best EL education schools in the area!
In my free time, you will find me reading with a big cup of coffee, hanging out with friends and family, hiking, working out, or trying out new recipes. I cannot wait to teach our amazing students this Fall! #GoBolts
