Hanna is a native of WNC and graduated from UNCAsheville in 2015 with a Bachelors degree in Spanish. Throughout college, her focus was on immersion programs in WNC and researched elementary education benefits through language immersion. She truly understands the importance of experiential learning and strives to help her students become worldly learners. Her passion for the Spanish language and for travel led her to Guatemala in 2017 where she spent time immersing herself in the culture and earning her 200 hour yoga instructor training. She believes language learning is crucial to a rounded education and is excited to begin her journey here at FSI. In her free time, Hanna enjoys spending time with her husband and two cats. She is looking forward to a growing relationship with the FSI family.
