Marcel Duhaime teaches Math 2, Engineering and Computer Science. He first met his wife, Beth, when they were 16. At that time they would each spend their summers on the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee in NH. Sadly, it took Marcel almost 20 years to come to his senses and finally ask Beth out! This has been, without a doubt, the smartest decision he has ever made. They have one son, Sawyer, who is a student at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) studying Industrial Design.
Marcel is also a proud member of the U. S. Coast Guard Academy’s class of 1986. After serving tours in Honolulu, Boston and Washington, DC, he decided to pursue a career in education, teaching math, computer science and engineering at the high school level for over 25 years. Marcel enjoys working with the diverse student population that Franklin School of Innovation provides. In his free time he likes to hike, mountain bike, sea kayak and read.
