MS Student Council Kick Off: Spirit Week Planning

The Middle School Student Council is kicking off for the year! In this first meeting students will help make posters for Spirit Week and come up with ideas for a kindness campaign. We will also discuss how the Student Council will be structured. 

Student Council is open to all students in grades 5 - 8. We will have the following expectations for our meetings:

1. Students come to the designated classroom promptly at dismissal
2. Students sign in on the sign-in sheet
3. Students remain in the classroom for the full meeting unless given permission to leave (restroom, water fountain)
4. Cellphones will be collected at the door. Students may not be on their cell phones during the meeting time
5. Students who are unable to meet the expectations will not be allowed to attend future meetings
6. All behavior expectations from the school day apply during Student Council

The meeting will end promptly at 1:45 pm. Parents must pick up students at this time. Students who are not picked up by 1:45 will be placed in Beyond the Bell and the BtB Wednesday fees will apply.
