Caleb Melton

Caleb Melton was born in upstate South Carolina where he spent a majority of his childhood before attending the University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC. He obtained a Bachelors in Science magna cum laude in Marine Science with a focus in Physical Oceanography, along with a minor in Mathematics. After working as an academic tutor for student-athletes at USC and later a substitute teacher back in his hometown, Caleb decided to pursue a career in teaching and earned a Masters in Arts in Teaching Secondary Mathematics and has taught various courses, from algebra to calculus to physics, for 7 years in upstate SC. Caleb has a deep passion for teaching mathematics and physics and looks forward to helping others gain a deeper understanding of problem-solving.
 

In his free time, Caleb enjoys reading science fiction, fantasy, and historical fiction novels, when he is not gaming on his computer or enjoying outdoor activities and adventures with friends. Among his favorite trips include hiking out west in Colorado and Utah, as well as camping on beaches with friends in SC. He looks forward to more opportunities to explore the beautiful bounty nature has to offer and is always on the lookout for new adventures!
