Kristina Konle

Mrs. Konle earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of South Carolina. Before beginning her career in education, she worked in both inpatient and outpatient mental health settings. These experiences helped shape her passion for supporting and encouraging others.

Mrs. Konle’s path to teaching was an unexpected one. During her time as a stay-at-home mom, she began substitute teaching at her children’s school. What started as a way to help out quickly grew into a full-time teaching career. She has taught students from fifth grade through high school but discovered that middle school is where she truly belongs. She especially enjoys teaching math and helping students build confidence as they develop problem-solving skills.

Originally born in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and raised in South Carolina, Mrs. Konle lived in Asheville from 2004 to 2016 before moving back to Asheville in 2025.

Outside the classroom, Mrs. Konle enjoys spending time with her family and friends, hiking the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, and attending concerts whenever she gets the chance. She is excited to be part of the school community and looks forward to helping her students grow both academically and personally.
