Reid Coffey
My name is Reid Coffey, and I'll be teaching 10th grade English II and the Creative Writing & Poetry elective! I'm originally from Western North Carolina and am so proud to call Asheville my home. In 2021, I graduated from Appalachian State University with a Bachelor's degree in English - Secondary Education, and then in 2022, I graduated with a Master's degree in English - College Teaching from App State as well. Since then, I have had experience teaching and working with students of all ages, from Elementary all the way up to College students. When I'm not working with students, you can find me spending time at local concerts, trying the diverse food scene of Asheville, or being outdoors with my partner and our dog. This is my first year at Franklin, and I could not be more happy to join the team!
