Parent Crew

 

The Parent Crew serves as FSI's equivalent of a Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO). We are so glad you are here, and we would love to have any level of involvement you can provide.

Events Parent Crew Hosts:

    • The Annual Summer Meetup in the Park

    • The Spring Fair

    • Staff Appreciation Week and various staff appreciation days throughout the year

   Events Parent Crew Supports:

    • Musical Performances: Selling bouquets, snacks, etc.

    • Art Nights: Offering snacks for sale

    • Theater Performances

Parent Crew Fundraising:

We engage in various fundraising activities to support our initiatives, including:

    • Dine-out events

    • Merchandise sales

    • Snack sales during events

    • Silent Auction Every other year

    • Spring Fair Sales

    • Rummage Sale

    • Support the school’s efforts to raise money on Giving Tuesday for the annual fund


We also have a dedicated group of parents who serve as liaisons to connect the Parent Crew with teachers, staff, and families. Currently, we are seeking liaisons for Visual Arts, Sports, 10th grade, and 5th grade. If you're interested, please reach out via email at [email protected].

Our meetings this year are scheduled for September 10, 8:30 AM at the school, October 8, 8:30 AM at the school, and November 12, 6:30 PM online only.

Our goal this year is to start expanding and help financially support campus enrichment and activities. To do this, we need to increase our fundraising efforts (new this year is the rummage sale). We would love your support, and please reach out with any questions.

Parent Coffee Social Hosted by the Parent Crew

The Parent Crew is hosting a casual meetup for FSI parents/families and hang out at the Dripolator Candler, Thursday Sept. 3rd after dropoff starting at 8:15am, which is right down the street from FSI (less than ten minutes). So, drop the kids off at school, get some coffee with other parents (coffee is not provided but great company is), make some new friends and hang out!
