FSI’s own Cary Cooper, national award-winning songwriter, and captivating performer will release her newest CD, “Case of the Hopefuls” at the Altamont Theatre in Asheville, NC on November 30, 2017. The concert, which benefits the Arts program at The Franklin School of Innovation (FSI), will also include songwriting students and the FSI High School Chorus.
Cooper, who is releasing her 6th solo record, toured nationally for 12 years as a singer-songwriter before moving to Asheville and landing at FSI as a full-time music teacher. On November 30, at 7:30 pm, Cooper will be joined by Chris Rosser, Michael Hynes, Shep Cooper and (fellow FSI teacher) Bryan Clendenin for the concert at the Altamont Theatre. There will also be a themed basket raffle and a silent auction featuring FSI student and parent arts and crafts.
Tickets are $10 in advance $15 at the door. There is also front row VIP seats including the “Case of the Hopefuls” CD and extra goodies for $25. Tickets can be purchased at or at The Altamont Theatre Box Office for no service fees. All proceeds will benefit the Franklin School of Innovation Arts Program.
