Are you curious about coding? Have some mad tech skills you want to showcase? Just want to dip a toe into tech and see what it’s all about? We are excited to announce the launch a Girls Who Code club at FSI!
Why: Girls Who Code is a club that inspires girls to pursue their interests in collaboration and computer science. It is designed as a female-centric working space vs. computer science spaces that tend to be male-centric.
No experience or prior skills needed! Participation is FREE. In a Girls Who Code Club, girls are able to learn from fun and simple online coding tutorials, build community through interactive activities, and learn about inspiring role models.
The Franklin School of Innovation's mission is preparing the next generation of leaders, capable of solving problems and participating effectively and ethically as local and global citizens. Through challenging academics, real-world learning, and community engagement, our students discover their potential, develop persistence, and recognize the value of others. Our graduates are ready for the future they will create.
