Dr. Brittany Davenport is an Exceptional Children educator and educational leader with over 11 years of experience supporting students with disabilities in inclusive educational settings. She currently serves as the Exceptional Children Director at a public charter school in Asheville, North Carolina, where she collaborates with educators, related service providers, and families to improve outcomes for diverse learners. Dr. Davenport holds an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership, a master’s degree in Special Education, and is a National Board Certified Teacher. Her professional interests include inclusive practices, disproportionality in special education, student advocacy, and developing equitable systems that support access and success for all learners.
