FSI is offering students 2 options for taking the Driver’s Ed Course:
Take Driver’s Education online with Mountain Professionals Driving School
These classes are offered through WRESA (Western Region Education Alliance). Classes are available only to students residing in the following counties: Buncombe, Cherokee, Clay, Graham, Haywood, Henderson, Macon, Madison, McDowell, Mitchell, Polk, Rutherford, Swain, Transylvania, and Yancey. If you reside in Cherokee, Clay, Graham, Haywood, Macon, McDowell, Swain, the driving portion will be done in your county with driver’s ed/commercial school there, and there may be an additional fee.
Mountain Pro Driving School will offer in-person Drivers Education at FSI in February, beginning February 7 and continuing through February 28 (10 sessions total). Students MUST attend every class. *NOTE: $60.00 Registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferable, please be sure you can complete the requirements during the times for each session. You must complete assignments during the time frame outlined in the schedule. You will NOT be allowed to make up any assignments.
