Julia is a passionate educator dedicated to fostering a love for learning in her students and empowering them to become conscious adults. She grew up in greater New Orleans running around Honey Island Swamp in rain boots as a kid. This early connection to nature led her to study conservation biology at Louisiana State University. In the summers when she’s not teaching, she farms and plays guitar for her two cats, Fig and Penny. She feels at home at The Franklin School of Innovation and looks forward to this school year!
