This will be Kyle Wilson’s 4th year at FSI. He has taught middle school ELA, Social Studies, and is now the current 8th grade Math teacher. His deep love of learning has led him on an odyssey teaching most of the core subjects. He believes in developing strong relationships with students, and setting high expectations to challenge them. Mr. Wilson is a big believer in the growth mindset and centers his classroom around the belief that all students can achieve growth with the right support. This will be his first full year of teaching Math, and he is excited to get students engaged and excited about Mathematics! Mr. Wilson also coaches boys and girls middle school soccer at FSI in the spring.
Kyle is an avid fly fisherman, and when he is not teaching, you can usually find him in the middle of a river somewhere in the mountains. When not fishing, he loves to spend his time going on adventures with his wife, FSI’s amazing music teacher, and two dogs. He is absolutely obsessed with reading unnecessarily long and complex sci/fi fantasy novels, studying history, and following his beloved Boston sports teams.
