Rick is a South Florida native. After earning a Bachelor of Science in the Biological Sciences from Florida International University, he taught high school biology and chemistry at Westminster Christian School. He later relocated to Greenville Kentucky to become part of the Muhlenberg County School District. While serving as a math interventionist and part of the Extended Student Services team at Muhlenberg County North Middle School, he earned a Masters of Arts in Teaching in Secondary Education through Liberty University. He transferred from the middle school to Muhlenberg County High School to teach Biology, Pre AP biology, and AP Biology.
His main hobby is using MicroSoft Flight Simulator to fly the Boeing 737.
