We are pleased to announce that FSI had 11 student winners in this year’s WNC Regional Scholastic Art Competition! The Scholastic Art Awards are very competitive across the Western Carolina region. This year there were 540 total entries and 190 artworks/portfolios were given awards. This is an extraordinary honor for these students! The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards is the nation’s longest running (over 100 years), most prestigious recognition program for creative teens. Gold and Silver Key winners will have their artwork on display at the Asheville Art Museum along with Honorable Mention recipients’ work displayed on a digital rotation from January 24th – March 7th.
