Colin Isaacs holds a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics with a minor in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from the University of Mississippi and a Master of Education in Instructional Practice from Lipscomb University. Mr. Isaacs is a Teach For America alumnus who began his teaching career in Chattanooga, Tennessee, where he primarily taught English to Guatemalan migrants. With experience spanning ELA to ESL, Mr. Isaacs is passionate about guiding his students towards a deeper appreciation of language, literature, and diversity of thought.
Outside of the classroom, Mr. Isaacs enjoys reading in hammocks above trickling streams, writing in the cozy corners of coffee shops, hiking amongst the pines, and contemplating philosophy under the stars. He also enjoys spending time with his child—his gray tabby cat Jack.
