Greg has taken an unorthodox path to becoming an educator. After graduating from Peru State College in Peru, NE, he spent time as a drafter/designer, railroad worker, food co-op manager, sommelier, and part-time musician, finally going back to school to become an EC teacher 10 years ago. This decision has changed his life more than he had ever imagined and ultimately brought him to The Franklin School of Innovation where he is a proud Bolt.
Feeling strongly about building relationships with students in order to best identify and serve their needs, Greg is always looking for ways to connect and develop a comfort level with students in hopes of having a lasting impact on their lives and selfishly enjoy the impact they have on his.
When not in the classroom, Greg enjoys hiking, traveling, and camping with his partner and dogs, reading about obscure trivia, eating vegan, playing guitar, writing music, and performing on stage whenever possible.
