Jeff Bloomer is excited to join the FSI as its 11th grade American History and Model UN teacher for the 2025-2026 school year.
He has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Public Relations and a Master’s Degree in Education from East Tennessee State University. Mr. Bloomer has 25 years of experience working in education, both public and private.
Mr. Bloomer emphasizes collaborative, project-based learning in a student-driven environment. He supports students in the development of public speaking, debate, creativity, research, publication, and self-advocacy. Mr. Bloomer strives for meaningful work that invites a passion and ownership from his students.
When the teacher-hat comes off, Mr. Bloomer loves to hang with his wife, two boys, and rescue pup. Our great live music scene keeps him enthused, and the streams and trails keep him tranquil.
