Stacey Kingsley comes to FSI with a strong background in special education. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Special Education from East Carolina University and a Master’s degree in School Administration from Western Carolina University. She has 35 years of experience in teaching and supervising special education. Mrs. Kingsley taught for 25 years in Henderson County and has spent the last 10 years as a Program Specialist and Extended Content Coordinator in Buncombe County Schools.
As an administrator she works diligently to give teachers the tools, training and support they require to address the unique needs of each and every student. Mrs. Kingsley serves as a mentor to teachers and colleagues to help ensure a strong community in the field of special education that builds positive foundations for working with students with disabilities. Her ultimate goal is to provide students with a high quality education in preparation for a successful life after high school.
When Mrs. Kingsley is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, their children and the family pets. She is an avid reader and will often be found lost in the pages of a book. She loves crafts, especially cross stitch and crochet.
Mrs. Kingsley is a rare native to Western North Carolina, having been born in Asheville.
