Tom completed his Master’s of Arts in Teaching at Mars Hill University in June of 2024. Prior to that, he received a Master’s in Education from University of Arizona Global Campus. For the last four years, he has taught at TC Roberson High School while simultaneously coaching the boys and girls tennis teams at the Carolina Day School. Before pursuing a career in education, Tom worked in the field of marketing and advertising, directing TV campaigns for clients such as Bojangles, Enterprise Car Rental and Charter Spectrum. He lives with his wife, Megan, and twin daughters, Marion and Milly, who are just about to begin eighth grade.
