Off Broadway? Yes! Our 3 performances will be in the Tina McGuire Theatre at Wortham Center for the Performing Arts just off Broadway in downtown Asheville!
World premiere? Yes! The play was originally developed by the Vagrancy Writer’s Group in Los Angeles and this will be its first full stage production.
The show is a dramatic mystery based on a true crime story about a woman’s body that was found in the trunk of a tree in England in 1943. The woman’s identity and death remain a mystery to this day and the play asks us to consider how lost or stolen identity haunts the world.
